There was a time when solopreneurs were considered scammers.

Solopreneurship wasn’t a real job and it wasn’t a real business.

Influencers making money by teaching others how to be influencers, who taught others how to be influencers, who…

An MLM scheme.

And sure, there are still people like that. People who look for a quick buck. People who take advantage of the gig economy or cheat others.

But they’re becoming a minority.

Solopreneurship is growing like wildfire. In the USA, between 2 and 3 million people become part-time or full-time solopreneurs every year. Approximately 1.57 billion people in the global workforce are solopreneurs, and about 40% of them do it full-time.

There’s no doubt in my mind that solopreneurship will soon become the new way of work.
