Heidi Klum has us sold on vanilla chai blonde for autumn

Heidi Klum is known for her famous head of blonde hair. Aside from a few extra layers here and there, and a fringe that’s come and gone, her long blonde strands are a signature of Heidi’s aesthetic. But heading into autumn, the model has tapped up a slight tweak to the shade to make it a whole lot more seasonal.

With Fashion Week kicking off once again in Paris, Heidi Klum descended on the French capital, alongside some legacy model pals (including Eva Longoria, Kendall Jenner and Andie MacDowell) to walk the runway in the L’Oreal Paris show. She took the occasion to freshen up her blonde and shared the final result on Instagram.

While the last time we saw Heidi she was a dark caramel blonde, her latest pic shows she’s since transformed her hair into an ashy golden blonde.

She combined her new hairstyle with a long-sleeved maxi dress, complete with a high leg slit, eye-catching bangles and a natural manicure in a nude shade.

What is vanilla chai blonde?

Mimicking the colour of one of our favourite autumn brews, the milky blonde shade combines ashy blonde, speckled with some warmer golden tones and a mousy or brunette root.

Why choose vanilla chai blonde?

For autumn, this blonde tone serves as a perfect transitional colour that is suitable for both blondes and brunettes. It incorporates both high and lowlights in the lengths to create the so-called “vanilla chai style”, which also provides plenty of dimension. Paired with Heidi’s voluminous curls, the shade is a perfect blend of cosy and crisp (just like our favourite season).
